So, Who Am I?
In case you missed it, I am Jonathan Bourke. I aspire to be a photographer, fail miserably at being an occasional blogger, and get paid as a fulltime IT guy. I am currently based in Sydney, Australia, but I am originally from Limerick in Ireland (home of Munster Rugby! Go on the legends!). My love of travel has brought me to over 115 cities in 26 countries, and I hope that will be reflected in some of my photography.
Why Did I Start This Website?
Because no one else would listen to me! Seriously, I started this website as a showcase for my photography, something to focus the mind, and eventually a small source of income to help pay for my expensive gear habit.
What Will I Be Discussing?
You can expect to see a number of galleries of images from some of my favourite places around the world, some discussion of my techniques, and equipment, and hopefully some relevant links to interesting photography related tools, sites, and articles.
Anything Else?
It is the one thing that I am continually asked by friends and family. There are any number of buyers guides on the web, but I will distill them to what I believe are good recommendations for total beginners, improvers, and big spenders.
